Basketball Intramural League

WHAT:

The Basketball Intramural Training League is for kids in Kindergarten & 1st Grade to learn the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and supportive environment through instructional practices, small group work, and scrimmage games.

Core Basketball Fundamentals:
Shooting Mechanics                  Passing               Control Dribbling             Teamwork
Offense/Defense Principals         Footwork              Christian                        Fun

WHO
Kindergarten & 1st Grade Boys & Girls
This year, this is only open to Sacred Heart School Students year.
The League will be coed.

COST
$50.00 per player    * Includes League uniform shirt to be worn to every session.

UNIFORM
PROVIDED: T-shirt that player may keep
PARENTS PROVIDE: * Clean Athletic Shoes   * Athletic shorts  * Water Bottle

COACH & VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS
 

Your continued support through volunteering is, as always, greatly needed and appreciated!
However, there are requirements to provide you with training and protect our children.
 

If you would like to help with coaching, concessions, on-site coordinator, or in any other way, you must  Sign up on sacredhearttroysports.org/ Contact us with questions.

 

1) Sign up as a Coach/Volunteer on sacredhearttroysports.org/ during open registration

2) Purchase CYC ID Card

2) Take “Protecting God’s Children” Workshop *
     All Locations Required pre-registration to attend.

     *SHTROY is having workshop in Oct. Stay tuned. or pre-register with Jo-Ann Creech
3) Take Online COACHING TO MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE

     $19.95 refundable course, email receipt
4)  Background Check: SH’s Child Safety Coordinator will run bi-annual Check
     She will contact you, if there is a question.

5) All Paperwork needs to be turned into the Sacred Heart Church Office for: Jo-Ann Creech.
